Who We Are

Sports 4 All Brochure Staff Sponsors Media Archives

Kris Salisbury founded Sports 4 All in 2005 as a way to promote full access to sports and recreation for people with disabilities. Her understanding of the community’s needs, experience in fundraising, and knowledge of the business world created the platform from which the unique service of Sports 4 All took shape.

Sports 4 All began as an organization with a single program, Equipment Endowment, which served people with disabilities through the redistribution of equipment and apparel to enable full participation in sports and recreation. In 2008, the need for regular exercise and sport specific training—for participation in Special Olympics—was met with the creation of Project HEALTH (Helping Every Ability Learn To be Healthy). Today, our programs meet the needs of over 1500 people annually through donated equipment and classes focused on health and wellness.

Over the years Sports 4 All has evolved to better meet the needs of our community. Sports 4 All now operates its own eBay store, which generates funding for our programs. Equipment Endowment makes several trips each year across the southeast to acquire new equipment and apparel. Project HEALTH now offers a certification to individuals who would like to lead adaptive fitness and nutrition education classes to people of all abilities. Our staff present and exhibit at conferences and trainings across the state to spread awareness and further the mission of our organization: turning disabilities into abilities through sports and healthy activities.

Dominique Page
Project HEALTH Coordinator

Dominique was born and raised in Nashville and attended Belmont University. She received a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Sport Administration. Dominique has always had a heart for working with special populations, especially growing up with family members with special needs.

In January of 2018, Dominique joined the Sports 4 All family as an intern. Following graduation May of 2018, she officially came on as a part time Project HEALTH instuctor. After gaining some hands-on experience, she took over the Project HEALTH Coordinator position in March of 2019. Dominique has been an active part in our community over the past year and loves forming relationships with our participants and watching them grow and succeed. Dominique is excited to have the opportunity to be a part of so many wonderful peoples stories, as well as helping the foundation grow along the way.

When she's not working, Dominique enjoys "food adventures" and DIY projects. She enjoys being outdoors and everything puppy related. She also loves to cook, go to the movies, and spend time with friends and family.
